JUANDRES VERA

Self-taught in drawing from an early age. He completed a degree in camera arts from the Faculty of Arts of the UANL (Monterrey, Mexico).
He discovers his talent for realistic painting by participating in a street painting contest and thus begins to work independently creating decorative murals on commission. Later he ventured into easel painting, standing out in the local area of ​​his city with a series of pieces inspired by urban public transportation.

Since then he has used realism to address various topics such as still life, religion, politics, etc. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in Mexico, the United States, France, Germany, Sweden and India.

In addition to the easel production, he has stood out internationally as one of the greatest exponents of anamorphic street painting (better known as 3D) in Mexico, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Thailand, Dubai and Spain among others.

He obtained a Guinness World Record by directing a 140-meter-long anamorphic pavement painting project in Holland in 2013.

He resides in Barcelona, ​​Spain.
